In Belarus, electrically-heated houses to account for at least 30% of total housing commissioning in 2025

With the commissioning of the BelNPP and the increase in electricity generation, the emphasis in housing construction to be made on the construction of electrically-heated housing. It is planned that in 2025, electrically-heated houses will make up at least one third of the total volume of housing commissioned in Belarus. This year, it is planned to build more than 170 thousand square meters of electric-heated apartments. The Ministry of Construction and Architecture has developed various options for electric heating and water heating schemes in such houses. Green building is also a priority. During the five-year period, Belarus plans to introduce appropriate standards. It's not only about energy sources, but also about landscaping and gardening.
