Agricultural organizations of the Minsk region are developing new directions in animal husbandry. So, in Logoisk region they are breeding sheep of the Ile-de-France breed. This is a project of investors from Iran. The flock contains 1400 animals. The work mainly consists of stock breeding: the sheep are bought by farmers from different countries to improve the genetics of other breeds. Meat and wool are esteemed. Other Iranian investors are developing a project in the agro-industrial complex of the Borisov district. A new dairy farm has opened here. All cows are of Holstein breed. The plans include shops for processing milk and poultry meat.
