In Belarus, the harvesting of first-cut silage is being completed and the harvesting of the second one has begun. As was noted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, the precipitation slightly improved the situation in the fields. However, this practically didn’t affect grains and rapeseed, since the formation of the crop is now being completed. There are no losses in vegetable and fodder crops, as well as in potatoes. In Minsk region there are records, as the yield of second bread in some regions exceeds 800 centners per hectare (400 is considered good). But for this, in addition to care, the plants need abundant watering. So, in one of the farms, potatoes are watered with water pumped directly from the river. The plans of the farm in the Logoisk district are also to grow beets. Potato export will soon include the countries of Central Asia, Azerbaijan, and Iran.
