Gomel region starts harvesting green peas

Farmers in Gomel region are the first in Belarus to start harvesting green peas. The crop has been harvested on almost 20% of the acreage. The peas are delivered from the fields to processing plants. Special attention is paid to the quality of the product. It is not sold on the domestic market only, part of the harvest is exported. There are 4 pea processing plants in Gomel region.
