Farmers start spring field work

All farms of the Grodno region are actively preparing the soil for sowing early spring crops. Mineral and organic fertilizers are applied, soil is being cultivated. The necessary stores of fuels, lubricants and spare parts have been stockpiled by the time the machinery was out in the fields, and seeds have also been prepared. Repair of tractors and implements was completed. Due to night frosts this year the sowing of spring crops will start a little later than usual. Most farms plan to start sowing by the end of March.
