Farmers start planting corn

The sowing of early spring grain and leguminous crops is being completed in the Minsk region. More than 120 thousand hectares are already behind. Fertilizing with organic and mineral fertilizers continues. For example, the region's farmers are provided with 100 percent of potash fertilizers. The seeds of the Belarusian selection are also in demand. So, the farm "Shipyany-ASK" plans to cultivate soybeans of the "Pripyat" variety. This week, many agricultural organizations in the central region will start sowing corn. Agrarians of the Minsk region this season intend to receive 600 thousand tons of grain of this crop.
