Farmers harvesting potatoes

Agricultural farms in Gomel region are actively harvesting potatoes. In total, more than 3 thousand hectares are allocated for harvesting the crop in Gomel region. Farmers note a higher harvest compared to last year. The northern part of the region is more favorable for growing this crop. It is in these areas the soil is bound, so the potatoes are more successful. Belarusian potatoes are an exportable and well-proven crop. Profitability is about 50%.
