Exchange term expiring for old-design Belarusian banknotes

Those willing to exchange old-design Belarusian rubles for currently valid banknotes still have a little more than a month ahead of them. As from January 1, it will no longer be possible. At present, this can be done only at Minsk-based offices of the National Bank. The demand for the service is considerable. About 70 people apply for it every day. According to the National Bank, after the denomination of 2016, more than 60% of old banknotes have been withdrawn from circulation.
