Electron beam welding center opened at National Academy of Sciences

A center with unique equipment for electron beam welding was opened at the National Academy of Sciences. This type of production improves the quality of a finished product and reduces its cost. Electron beam welding allows creating products of the most complex shape, which can’t be obtained by other methods. It is most widely used in the aerospace industry, nuclear energy, and mechanical engineering. Twenty employees are involved in the production. The process is simplifies by the automated control system.
