EAEU will develop integration in the field of intellectual property

The Eurasian Economic Union will develop integration in the field of intellectual property. Topical profile issues were discussed at the forum in Minsk. The five countries are interested in a single patent space - this guarantees effective protection tools in a single market. It is also proposed to introduce new objects of intellectual property. First of all – utility models and a single Eurasian trademark. A lot has already been done to protect copyrights. Thus, the EAEU provides for obtaining a single patent for industrial designs. It operates on the territory of all states of the Union. These days Belarus is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the creation of the national system of intellectual property.
