Digital technologies in the agro-industrial complex were discussed in Gorki

On the basis of the Belarusian Agricultural Academy in Gorki, the prospects of using digital technologies in the agro-industrial complex were discussed. The institution opened the country's first center for training specialists in the field of precision farming. The first hundred of these engineers will go to agricultural enterprises of the country next year. Precision farming is the guarantor of agricultural efficiency. We are talking about high yields, improving product quality and reducing costs. According to experts, the use of satellite navigation systems in preparing the soil for the sowing campaign saves up to 24% of energy resources. Discussions were held with the participation of the leadership of the Ministry and members of the government.
