Course towards import substitution in the dairy industry

Belarusian food producers are expanding the geography of exports. Last year, our products were bought in 106 countries around the world. It was possible to earn more than $6 billion. The trade potential is also enhanced by the participation of domestic producers at major international exhibitions. So, milk processors, among them the Slutsk cheese-making plant, will present new products in Dubai in February. More and more agro-industrial enterprises are also offering know-how in import substitution. For example, Vileyka will become a pilot site in Belarus, where they will master the production of Camembert cheese. Belarusian dairy products are also trusted in China. According to forecasts, our exports to China will reach $1 billion in the coming year.
