The CIS is ready to switch to transactions in national currencies. This will make it possible to get away from dependence in trade on the dollar and the euro, Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Igor Petrishenko said following a meeting of the CIS Economic Council. The Western sanctions against Belarus and Russia also affected the transactions within the Commonwealth countries. Therefore, the Interstate Bank of the CIS has worked out a special mechanism, the business will be able to switch to payments in national currencies as comfortably as possible.
