Corn sowing starts in Brest region

Corn sowing has already begun in the fields of the Brest region. One of the first to start sowing corn was the Belovezhski farm. This year, the farmers are faced with the task of carrying out the spring sowing campaign optimally and as soon as possible. Early spring and leguminous crops have already been sown on more than 70% of the acreage, which is 644 thousand hectares in total. Corn will occupy more than 1 million hectares, 98 thousand hectares have been allocated for sugar beets, 47 thousand hectares for flax and 20 thousand hectares for potatoes.
