The CIS Intergovernmental Council for Cooperation, a landmark event for the construction industry, is being held in Minsk these days. Delegations from seven CIS countries attended at the meeting. The removal of existing barriers, pricing, the creation of a single market for construction goods and services, as well as the unification of the legal framework are in the spotlight. As noted at the meeting, the construction industry in the CIS is developing dynamically; over the past three years, investments in fixed assets of the CIS have increased by 11%. The sphere is one of the fundamental sectors of the economy, reflecting trends in the economic and social development of states.
