"Belaruskali" starts sinking cage shaft of Darasinsky mine

Development of a new raw material base in the potash industry in Belarus is in progress. In the Soligorsk district, the excavation of the cage shaft of the Darasinsky mine has started. About 9 million tons of ore can be mined here annually. It will be processed at one of the nearby plants. The new mine will provide over 800 jobs. Belaruskali produced over 11 million tons of potash fertilizers this year. The products are exported to 110 countries. Next year, the industrial giant plans to start operation of the newest mining and processing plant in Petrikov. This is the largest investment project, where one and a half million tons of fertilizers will be produced per year.
