Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange starts selling fertilizers on domestic market

Regular trading in fertilizers on the domestic market will start on March 1 at the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange. It is planned to sell mineral fertilizers most in demand in agriculture through the exchange platform. Trading sessions will be held on the principle of a reverse auction twice a week. In January 2022, agribusiness products worth a total of Br123 million were sold at BUCE auctions. Oilseed meals and feed additives were in the greatest demand on the domestic market, while vegetable oils and sugar beet processing products constituted the largest share of export sales.
