Belarusian farmers are completing the sowing of winter grains

In the Minsk region, these works have already been completed and the first shoots are treated from weeds. One of the main tasks is the preparation of fodder. Thus, there are plans in the capital region to produce 4 million tons of silage. And more than 85% has already been processed. In the branch "Bolshiye Novoselki" of the Borisov Combine of Bakery Products, the yield of corn in some fields is 380 centners/ha. In such a silo, 40% is occupied by grain, the rest is green mass. A rich fodder base is the basis of animal husbandry. This year, the dairy herd at the Borisov Combine will increase by another 1,200 cows. The enterprise develops on the principle of an agricultural holding. Recently, 6,000 hectares of land were added to its agricultural branch.
