Belarus operating system of measures to support personnel in agricultural sector

New personnel begins its work in the agricultural sector. This year about a thousand young specialists were hired by the agricultural enterprises, however, according to statistics, no more than half of them will stay on after the compulsory placement period is over. How to increase the attractiveness of work and life in the countryside, what problems young people face in the first workplace — these and other issues were discussed at a seminar in the Vitebsk region. Among the participants were graduates of agricultural educational institutions, representatives of government, trade unions and scientists. The country has a system of measures to support personnel in the agricultural sector. These are mandatory monthly surcharges, housing and financial assistance.
