Belarus Nuclear Power Plant’s second unit to be put into operation in 2022

According to the Ministry of Energy, now it is going through pre- commissioning procedures. With the commissioning of the second power unit, Belarus will cover almost 40% of domestic electricity needs. Thanks to the nuclear power plant, it will also be possible for programs on increasing electricity consumption, developing electric transport and introducing electric heating at households to reach a new level.
