New markets include China and Africa. Issues of production and export were discussed in the Logoisk district at the third "Cheese Academy". Leading manufacturers of Belarus took part in the event with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. They also tasted products from Russia. Among the jury are specialists from top Russian research organizations. All tastings were incognito. According to the results of the competition, three prize-winning places were shared by cheese makers from Brest and Minsk regions. Today, Belarusian enterprises produce more than 380 types of cheese. In the foreign trade supplies of dairy products, cheeses alone occupy 40%.
