Belarus has new prices for sugar. At the same time, trade does not change the size of the mark-ups; the increase is due to the new selling prices by producers. On average, the cost will increase by 60 kopecks. This decision of the government is due to the large difference in sugar prices in Belarus and, for example, in Russia, where it’s almost twice as high. Earlier, a decision was made limiting the export of sugar, flour and cereals from Belarus to 1 kilogram. But these restrictions do not apply to residents of the EAEU countries. Among other things, manufacturers are required to coordinate with Ministry of Antimonoply Regulation and Trade the volume of export deliveries.
