Belarus increased food production by 2.9% in 2020

Belarus increased food production by almost 3% in 2020. The leaders are dairy products. Last year, their production increased by 6% compared to 2019. Condensed milk and cream production increase recorded at over 20%. The Ministry of Agriculture said that there is a continuing trend toward improved financial performance. Food products sales revenue in January-November 2020 was over 14% higher than that of 2019. The growth of sales revenue amounted to 17.6%. Due to the measures taken to bolster the economy, the number of unprofitable organizations in Belarus has decreased significantly.
