Belarus harvests more than 5 million tons of grain

Belarus has already harvested more than 5 million tons of grain. A quarter of the acreage remains to be cropped. In terms of the harvesting pace, the Brest region is in the lead. Minsk region tops the threshing yield chart. For example, wintering wheat is being harvested at the Smolevichi Raigrosersvis farm. About one thousand three hundred hectares are under the grain crops. More than half are sown with wintering varieties. They give the highest yield. The grain brought from the fields undergoes further processing. Two facilities help bring about 250 tons per day to optimum humidity.
