Belarus has harvested almost 6 million tons of grain to date. Farmers have only 8 percent of the total acreage left to crop. Minsk region has reached the milestone of one and a half million tons. The Brest region is also among the top three in terms of harvesting yield with 1,155,000 tons, while Grodno region has 974,000 tons. The planned volumes of state-ordered grain supplies are 85 percent complete. At the same time, farmers have started other field works. For instance, the agricultural company of the Slutsk cheese-making plant is now preparing the lands for the future grain harvest.
