The first meeting of the joint intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Equatorial Guinea took place today. This event was a continuation of the work started at the highest level during the historic visit of the President of Equatorial Guinea to Minsk. Now the parties are faced with the task of transforming the agreements reached by the heads of state into concrete economic projects. The main expected outcome is the elaboration of a roadmap for the development of bilateral cooperation, which will be submitted to the Presidents of Belarus and Equatorial Guinea for signing. The priority areas include agriculture, information technologies, healthcare, education, tourism, construction, development of service sector and setting up woodworking companies.
