GDP growth and low inflation. The Ministry of Economy of Belarus voiced the results over the past 9 months. Despite the sanctions, the economy is developing. GDP grew by 3.5% in January-September, and there are all the prerequisites for inflation to be at 5-6% instead of the 7-8% target. The main drivers of growth are trade, industry and construction. For example, Belarus remains in the lead among the EAEU countries in terms of industrial production growth rates. And the real income of the population has increased by more than 5%, which is reflected in the retail turnover, which grew by almost 7%.
