Belarus as strategic partner of Russia’s Volgograd Region

Taking into account the sanction pressure of the West and the unstable situation on the border with Ukraine, it is important for Belarus to redirect its cargoes to Iran, India, and Asian countries. And Volgograd is an important transport hub. Setting up a hub for Belarusian goods on its territory will simplify the process of transportation to third countries. Also, Volgograd needs new electric transport today. The city has already received the first batch of latest Belarusian trolleybuses. Another direction is the construction industry. Volgograd is implementing several major investment projects in Belarus.
