Belarus wants to reach a new level of cooperation with Russia. This was stated by Roman Golovchenko at a meeting with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov. According to the Belarusian Prime Minister, the economies of the two countries exhibit synchronous post-crisis recovery. This is important for Belarus, because Russia is its key partner in the military-technical, scientific and industrial spheres. For the development of relations, it is important to create a level playing field. Removing barriers will allow for closer cooperation between enterprises of the two countries, it was noted at the meeting. It was announced that Belarus and Russia plan to resume passenger railway communication starting with February 8.
