Belarus and Lipetsk region of Russia identified promising areas of cooperation

The Lipetsk region is interested in purchasing various types of Belarusian equipment and cooperation with Belarus in the construction of housing and roads. This was discussed at the negotiations held in Moscow between Minister of Finance of Belarus Yuri Seliverstov and Governor of the Lipetsk Region Igor Artamonov. For many years, Belarus has been among the top 10 major trade and economic partners of the Lipetsk region and is a leading trading partner among the CIS countries. Two sister city agreements were also signed in Moscow: the Volovsky district of the Lipetsk region concluded an agreement with the Liozno district of the Vitebsk region, and the Lipetsk district with the Berezovsky district of the Brest region.
