The countries plan to expand their food partnership. The topic was discussed during the meeting of the delegation of the Republic of Cuba with the leadership of the Belgospishcheprom concern. The key topics of the negotiations are the supply of Belarusian food products to the Cuban market. The guests showed particular interest in Belarusian sugar and confectionery products. Supplies of mango puree and juice, guava, papaya and other exotic fruits for the confectionery and canning industries to Belarus were discussed. The parties also touched upon the issues of minimizing transportation costs and creating optimal routes for mutual supplies through seaports.
