At the beginning of the year, Belarus doubled its supply of eggs to Russia

In the first ten days of January, more than 11 millions of them were exported, which is almost twice as much as in the same period last year. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food emphasizes that the increase in supplies is due to increased demand in the eastern neighboring country, as well as the accumulation of surplus products at domestic enterprises. Today, the capacity of our manufacturers is used at 100%, which allows to fully meet the needs of the domestic market and export. The level of self-sufficiency in chicken eggs in Belarus is 125%. The annual production of chicken eggs in Belarus is 3 billion, another half a million comes from farms and households.
