Today is 115th anniversary of birth of People's Artist of Belarus and USSR Stefaniya Staniuta

Today People's Artist of Belarus and the USSR Stefaniya Staniuta would have turned 115. The daughter of the famous Belarusian artist Mikhail Staniuta was born in Minsk. From the age of 13 she was employed in mass scenes in productions by one of the founders of the professional Belarusian theater Florian Zhdanovich. She devoted almost all her life to the stage. Staniuta played about 200 roles in the Yanka Kupala National Academic Drama Theater. She appeared in films, radio plays and television programs.
