The Belarusian capital is preparing for its premier cinematic event of the year: the XXXII International Film Festival "Listapad," which kicks off in Minsk on 30 October. This season, filmmakers from more than 50 countries will present their work — ranging from established masters from Russia, China, and India to representatives from the vibrant film traditions of Cuba, Egypt, and Serbia. Filmmakers from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, as well as debut directors from Vietnam and the Philippines, will compete for awards in the "Young Cinema" category. Eight competition programs will be hosted across five venues, including the renovated Moskva and Pobeda cinemas. The forum's slogan is: "WATCH. LIVE. APPRECIATE."
