The exhibition "Living Heritage of Belarus: Traditions and Modernity" graced the Belarusian pavilion at the VDNKh. The exhibits were provided by the National Art Museum, whose collection contains hundreds of masterpieces of decorative and applied art. Folk Belarusian costumes, which have UNESCO World Heritage status, were brought to Moscow. The exhibition was timed to coincide with the Year of Belarusian Women. Young designers also presented linen collections at the VDNKh, blending ancient Belarusian weaving traditions with contemporary urban style.
