Leonid Shchemelyov’s art exhibition On Women and Spring

Spring, love, and beauty are the themes of national artist of Belarus Leonid Shchemelyov’s retrospective exhibition On Women and Spring that opened in Minsk. All paintings and graphic works depict women images. The author’s muses and a source of inspiration are his mother, wife, daughters, and granddaughters. The painter worked on the family collection for half a century. In total, the city art gallery features about forty paintings by Leonid Shchemelyov.
