How to turn flax into threads

Ancient weaving techniques are being reborn in Vileyka. An interactive exhibition at the Vileyka Museum of Local Lore shows how our ancestors used to clean and process flax, turn it into durable threads. Visitors can try to repeat all the stages of weaving linen themselves. The museum also features a collection of original straw items. They reflect local legends and tales.
