A ton worth of bells to be played at Belarusian State Philharmonic

A concert celebrating the 20th anniversary of the bell ringers' department of the Minsk Theological College will be held today at the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society. The program includes 5 premieres from Belarusian composers. The authors used imitation of bell ringing with the help of voice and various musical instruments. The concert will also be accompanied by 3 bell ensembles. Today, the traditions of the canonical bell ringing are preserved and developed at the Temple of the Icon of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow".
