According to the decision of the competent jury of the TV Film Forum, the author's project "Belarusians" of the International Satellite Belarus 24 TV Channel claims to reach the final in the special nomination "View from the near abroad”. The theme of the issue is", written by Ksenia Kutova, cameraman - Artyom Glushuk, producer - Pavel Rosolko.
The issue is dedicated to the true guardian of the Yelnya marshland. The program about Maxim Dovgun is not only a journey through the bogs of Yelnya, but also a study of the soul of the Belarusian people, their culture and love for nature.
The final of the TV Film Forum, which is held by the Union of Journalists of Russia with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, will be held in Nizhny Novgorod from 16 to 20 June. The winners in each nomination will be announced on 19 June at the awards ceremony.
The purpose of the International TV Film Forum "New Reality" is to promote cultural and spiritual integration of peoples and increase the importance of Russian TV and film art on the map of Russia and the world by developing and strengthening relations between journalistic and cinematographic communities of Russia and other countries, as well as identifying young talented documentary filmmakers, cameramen and creators of television programs.
