The TV broadcast of the International Satellite Belarus 24 TV Channel is set up in Antarctica — for the first time in the history of Belarusian Antarctic expeditions!
This significant event was made possible by the station's key life support systems, including satellite communications.
The 18th Belarusian Antarctic Expedition started carrying out scientific research and other tasks at the Belarusian Antarctic Station on 6 November.
The expedition participants note that this event is an important psychological support factor.
Since 1 May, 2025, the Belarus 24 TV channel has been available to more than 4 billion residents of East, Southeast, South Asia, Australia, East Africa and Antarctica via the EXPRESS-103 satellite.
