A scientific and practical round table "China's Reforms - New Opportunities for All" was held in Minsk. The experts discussed cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China in many areas, the impact of changes within China on the implementation of the Belt and Road and the Community of Common Destiny of Mankind projects and initiatives, and outlined the significance of the decisions of the III Plenum of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in the issues of globalization and the establishment of a multipolar world. The event was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Xie Xiaoyun, General Director and Editor of the Media Corporation of China Shen Haixiong, Chairman of the Board of the Belarusian Union of Journalists, General Director of the Minsk News Agency Andrei Krivosheev, Deputy General Director of the International Satellite TV Channel "Belarus 24" of Belteleradiocompany Dmitry Voronyuk, as well as representatives of public organizations, scientific community, journalists. Belarus and China are at the forefront of building a new, multipolar, equitable world order. In 2022, Belarus and China brought their relations to the highest possible level of "comprehensive strategic partnership," and in July 2024, Belarus became a full member of the SCO. Minsk is also an active participant in the Belt and Road projects and supports Beijing's initiative to build the "Community of the Common Destiny of Mankind".
