Aleksandr Lukashenko took part in the solemn meeting dedicated to the 80^th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

Today Aleksandr Lukashenko will hold talks with president of Guinea-Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embalo, who has arrived in Belarus on a working visit.

On 9 May, festive events will be held all over Belarus. The main event will be a military parade and a theatrical episode "Let's Live" dedicated to the 80^th anniversary of the Great Victory. It will start at 20:30.

A dress rehearsal of the military parade to the 80^th anniversary of Victory was held at the Minsk Hero City Stele.

Today Belarus celebrates the Day of Radio, Television and Communications Workers. President A. Lukashenko congratulated the employees on their professional holiday.
