03/04/2026
Igor Cherginets, the airline's CEO, told reporters at a press conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the national airline, which new countries Belavia will fly to.

One of the promising destinations is the Maldives, where Belavia plans to start flying from August. "I hope it works out. Expensive holidays, but there is a demand, we work with the tourist market.

The organization of 6-8 flights is being worked out," Igor Cherginets said. The airline also expects to operate flights on the Minsk - Manama (Bahrain) route from the end of March.

Thanks to the launch of such a program, Belarusians will have the opportunity to travel not only to Bahrain, but also to Saudi Arabia. The list of cities in the route network will be expanded by new resorts in Vietnam - Nha Trang and Da Nang.

Moreover, the frequency of flights to Nha Trang, where it will be possible to go from 31 March, will be 3 times a week. Charters to Da Nang will start on 10 May and will replace Phu Quoc for the summer period. Belavia will fly here once every 10/11 days. Flights to Jordan and Tunisia will be resumed.

Air transportation from Minsk to Murmansk and Makhachkala will be restored for the summer period.

New destinations will be opened from regional airports, in particular, from Brest to Doha (Qatar).

In total, Belavia operates flights (scheduled and charter tourist flights) to 18 countries. In 2025, the airline carried more than 2 million passengers, which is 8.4% more than in 2024.

Passenger turnover exceeded 5.5 million passenger kilometers (an increase of 11.2%). 1.675 flights were operated from regional airports, and more than 145.1 thousand passengers used them.

The total percentage of seats occupied was 85.9. 3308 tones of cargo were transported (59.7% more). Cargo turnover has almost doubled.

In 2025, the first long-haul flights in the airline's history were launched to Sanya (China), Phu Quoc Island (Vietnam), Sri Lanka, and Thailand in January 2026. Charter programs to Oman and long-awaited flights to Almaty and Tel Aviv have also been resumed.
