The grand opening of the National Exposition of the Republic of Belarus took place in Shanghai at the China International Import Exhibition CIIE 2025

The opening ceremony of the National Exposition of the Republic of Belarus took place in Shanghai at CIIE 2025 with the participation of the heads of the delegation, distinguished guests and representatives of the Chinese business community.

On behalf of the Chinese side, Wang Kaixuan, a representative of the leadership of the Department of Europe and Central Asia of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, delivered a solemn speech. The distinguished guest stressed that Belarus is one of the most anticipated participants of China International Import Expo 2025. China and Belarus have a long-term reliable and strategic partnership in a wide range of areas.

The head of the Belarusian delegation, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus Alexander Yakovchits noted that participation in this global event for the Republic of Belarus is a confirmation of the high level of interstate cooperation.

At exhibition CIIE 2025, the Belarusian side is demonstrating an exposition presented in the country pavilion and thematic locations: "Food and Agricultural products", "High-tech Equipment and Information Technologies", with a total area of 402 square meters.m., formed by the Belinterexpo unitary enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the participation of more than 40 domestic food industry and industrial enterprises, organizations and institutions of scientific and technical fields and the education system.

The leitmotif and the main theme of this year is "Flax – Belarusian gold". Belarus is one of the largest flax fiber producing countries, and flax products in the world are recognized as unique and unparalleled in composition, quality and origin.
