Fujinaka Kiyoe:

"Through cultural exchange, I want to further deepen our interaction with children.

When we went on tour to Belarus in 2021 and saw children performing traditional dances at the Trade Union Palace of Culture, we were deeply touched.

Their performance vividly demonstrated how the culture dear to the heart is passed on to Belarusian children. I have a deep respect for the beauty of preserving traditions and passing them on to the next generation.

I believe that the exchange between Belarusian and Japanese children will allow them to learn from each other and rediscover the splendor of the cultures of the two countries.

For Japanese children, this can be an important opportunity to turn their attention to a disappearing traditional culture. When children's hearts connect, transcending boundaries, I believe in world peace. I hope to continue to keep the flame of culture alive through children's cultural exchanges, passing it on to future generations."
