A working meeting was held between the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Ruslan Chernetsky and the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov

During the talks, the parties discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field of culture.

Ruslan Chernetsky stressed the importance of deepening cooperation in the field of cinematography, as well as the development of exchange tours between the theaters of Belarus and Uzbekistan.

In turn, Ozodbek Nazarbekov proposed to intensify cooperation in the educational sphere. In particular, they discussed the expansion of partnership between the relevant cultural institutions of the two countries in the training of choreography teachers. The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan also proposed to develop a partnership between the two countries on the introduction of information technologies in the cultural sphere.

Ruslan Chernetsky expressed his sincere gratitude to Ozodbek Nazarbekov for the warm welcome of the Belarusian delegation within the framework of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

As part of the meeting of the heads of relevant departments, a signing ceremony was also held for a number of documents on cooperation between cultural institutions of Belarus and Uzbekistan.
