Prince Ludwig of the Svyatopolk-Chetvertinsky noble family started the construction of the estate itself in 1907. After only a year, the work was completed. The famous hereditary Polish-Italian architect Vladyslav Marconi created the project of this unusual palace. The design of the estate included a three-story house, a park, an outhouse, a mill, a pond and many farm buildings. In architectural terms, it can be attributed to the Art Nouveau or Baroque Revival style.

Until 1939, a large Svyatopolk-Chetvertinsky family lived here. In the 1960s, the palace was transferred to an air defense unit.By the end of the century, it was disbanded, and the estate complex went to one of the divisions of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. From this period, the "cinematic" part of the palace's history begins. The walls of the Svyatopolk-Chetvertinsky estate become a film platform.

The most famous film was "Masakra" about a were-bear, created based on old belarusian legends. Unfortunately, this time brought the greatest destruction to the palace and its surrounding buildings. In addition to films, they also shot music videos.

The place is as mystical as possible, and it is easy to get lost in its lanes and alleys. The palace has preserved its original doors, floor tiles and stairs throughout the house. In some places, stucco is still present. In addition to luxurious stairs and stucco, you can see preserved doors, parquet.

The most beautiful place in the palace is the grand wooden staircase. It was for this reason that photographers from all over Belarus came here. We understand them, because it is really not easy to pass by this beauty. In some sources, you can find out that on the second floor there was a hall where balls were held.

There is a legend that at the beginning of the last century they were engaged in breeding delicious snails, which were specially brought from France for this purpose. Locals claim that the snails that are now found here are descendants of those very French ones.

Walking through these places, you can admire a young park, since the perennial trees are almost not preserved. There are only a few trees left that were planted during the Svyatopolk-Chetvertinsky period.

Today, the ancestral palace is waiting in the wings. The territory is fenced and partially guarded. It is now impossible to get inside the manor. However, we believe that one day this beautiful place on the map will open its doors to visitors again.
