Seven countries agreed to develop container transportation between China and Europe
28.04.2017
The railway companies of seven countries have agreed to develop container transportation between China and Europe. The agreement was signed by Belarus, China, Russia, Germany, Kazakhstan, Poland and Mongolia. The objectives are to increase traffic volumes, create logistics infrastructure facilities, and introduce the latest technologies to reduce travel time. One of them is electronic information about cargo and vehicles that cross borders. This will simplify the control procedures at the checkpoints and shorten the time for customs clearance. A working group will be established to implement the agreement.
