08.04.2026
On 6 April, Chairman of the Permanent Commission on International Affairs and National Security of the Council of the Republic S. Aleynik met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Belarus Batsukh Bayarsaikhan on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in our country.

The sides exchanged views on the development of Belarusian-Mongolian relations. They noted the positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation over the past five years, including the successful implementation of a number of important events aimed at strengthening ties between the Republic of Belarus and Mongolia.

The meeting highlighted the importance of the first state visit of President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko to Mongolia in 2024 in the history of bilateral relations, during which the legal framework of the Belarusian-Mongolian cooperation was significantly expanded.

Special attention was paid to the further development of trade and economic cooperation and the implementation of agreements in this area. This is largely facilitated by the temporary trade agreement signed in June 2025 between the EAEU countries and Mongolia.

In addition, issues of Belarusian-Mongolian interparliamentary cooperation were discussed, including at the level of friendship groups formed in the legislative bodies of the two countries. According to the parties, the bilateral interparliamentary dialogue contributes to the formation of a favorable legal framework for the further intensification of Belarusian-Mongolian relations.

At the end of the meeting, S. Aleynik thanked the Ambassador of Mongolia for his work and wished him success in his future government activities.
