Rachkov: regardless of the processes taking place in the world, Belarus is ready to become a full member of BRICS

Chairman of the Standing Committee on International Affairs of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly Sergey Rachkov spoke at the 1st Working Session of the Chairmen of the International Affairs Committees of the BRICS Parliaments on the topic "Strengthening BRICS Trade in the Current International Environment".

Belarus has always demonstrated its openness to partnership and parliamentary diplomacy, and in the context of sanctions pressure and economic turmoil, joint confrontation of challenges has become especially important.

The Eurasian Economic Union, of which the Republic of Belarus is a member, is actively developing and deepening trade and economic cooperation with the BRICS countries either within the framework of concluded agreements and memorandums or within the framework of negotiation processes to reach relevant agreements.

Recently, the development of the Union's treaty framework with other BRICS countries has significantly intensified.
